England squad for Euro 2020: Alexander-Arnold included in 26-man group

Southgate's Young Lions ready to roar

Gareth Southgate has named his final 26-man England squad for Euro 2020, with Trent Alexander-Arnold included despite concerns over his fitness.

The Liverpool right-back is one of four full-backs in the squad, along with Kyle Walker, Reece James and Kieran Trippier.

Southgate has also included a number of exciting youngsters, such as Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka.

However, there is no place for Mason Greenwood, who withdrew from the squad with an injury on 1 June.

England have their three group games on home soil in Group D, where they will face Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic at Wembley Stadium.

Southgate's side are one of the favourites to win the tournament, and they will be hoping to add to their World Cup semi-final appearance in 2018.
